A Life in Balance Leads to Happiness and Longevity
Anyone who knows me will tell you that I live by the “80/20 Life in Balance”! I am a firm believer in enjoying life and being my best!
So what does that mean?
This means that 80% of the time I fill my body with whole, real, nutrient dense foods. I exercise by running, lifting weights, yoga, barre, biking, hiking, walking, just moving! I also love to spend time connecting with friends and family, and getting to know new people!
In doing so, I also enjoy occasional, 20%, splurges. I enjoy a burger and fries, or cake and ice cream! I celebrate with wine! I take time to just sit and enjoy the sunset, or sleep in!
Life is way too short to deprive yourself! I can help you learn, through tips and practice, how to live a balanced life through nutrition, exercise, and connection.
I also believe that food can either heal the body, or harm it. I will help you recognize the signs and symptoms. I will also show you the best foods to heal, energize, and balance the body!
My passion is working with others to improve their health, and their life! I have worked with a variety of individuals and groups, from teens to seniors, obese to athletes, corporate executives to college students, busy moms and dads, and everything in between! I can help you too!

About me
Growing up in the “running capitol”, Eugene, Oregon, and spending weekends and summers in Bend, I was surrounded by people who loved fitness, and were striving to be healthy! My parents were both very active, and instilled that passion in me.
Unfortunately, the 70’s hit with loads of fast food, sugar, diet soda, and fillers! Then, in the 90’s, it was the “fat free” craze! I was not immune to the craziness of diet soda, “fat free” cookies, and processed foods. And it took a toll on my body! I hated the way I felt, and I wanted to learn what it really meant to get my body healthy.
As I began studying Health and Exercise Science in college (specializing in nutrition), I became intrigued with all the crazy diets out there!
I wanted to understand how the body worked, how it would react to food and exercise, and what it truly meant to be “healthy”. I wanted to know why “diets don’t work”!
Becoming a mother of two beautiful children, my passion grew to studies of childhood obesity, the effects of stress and lack of sleep on the body, hormone imbalance, longevity, diabetes, ADHD, processed food chemicals, etc.
What I have learned is what I want to pass on to my clients. I want to give you all the information and tools that I have to empower you to get your body healthy and strong!
